Truck Freight Dispatcher/Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Truck Freight Dispatcher/Logistic Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the transportation and logistics operations of our company, and MUST have experience in transportation management systems and possess strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. Duties: - Coordinate and manage transportation activities, including scheduling, routing, and tracking of shipments - Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods - Monitor and analyze transportation costs, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) - Identify areas for improvement in transportation processes and implement solutions to optimize efficiency - Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and other logistics data - Prepare reports on transportation activities, including cost analysis, delivery performance, and inventory levels - Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies - Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to transportation operations - posses at least 3 years of relevant dispatch experience in the Trucking Industry. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree preferred - Proven experience in logistics operations - Strong knowledge of transportation management system operations - Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and other logistics technologies - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills is a must - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced team environment - Knowledge of transportation planning principles and practices - Proficient in data entry and record keeping If you are a highly motivated individual with a passion for logistics, we encourage you to apply and join our friendly team.
