Truck Driver/Yardman-Colorado River Building Materials

DUTIES: Greet and welcome customers, help and assist them with any questions regarding building materials. The ability to drive a Fork Lift to load and unload material in a safe manner, and prevent any damage to product, property, or personal damage to himself or to others. Must possess safe driving skills, a knowledge of local street directions to deliver building materials to construction sites, or residential addresses. Maintain tucks and forklifts in decent condition and notify management of any problems. Report to Store/Assistant Manager of any shortage of stock needed in inventory in a timely manner. Count and check in accurately, any merchandise arriving in yard by outside carriers and inspect for damages, May be called upon by management to do any job necessary to keep business operating efficiently. REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED). Must have a Driver's License. Must be able to greet customers, mathematical skills necessary, knowledge of lumber, be able to load and unload materials describe and recommend lumber to customers. Must be able to lift approximately 94 lbs. Ability to speak Spanish is very beneficial to this business in our locality, although not a requirement. Maintain good housekeeping in yard and warehouses.
