Truck Driver/Yard Manager

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented TRUCK DRIVER/YARD MANAGER to support daily operations through a combination of equipment and material transportation, yard management, and field crew support. POSITION OVERVIEW This position is responsible for safely transporting heavy equipment and bulk materials to and from jobsites while helping to maintain an organized, efficient, and safe landscape yard. The ideal candidate has strong commercial driving skills, experience operating heavy equipment, and the ability to take ownership of day-to-day yard organization and operations. RESPONSIBILITIES Safely transport heavy equipment, including excavators, skid steers, and loaders, to and from jobsites using company trucks and trailers Transport bulk landscape and construction materials to jobsites as needed Properly load, secure, and unload equipment and materials in accordance with DOT requirements and company safety procedures Manage dumpster rental transportation, including delivering and picking up dumpsters at customer locations and transporting loaded dumpsters to designated disposal facilities. Maintain organization of the landscape yard, including bulk materials, equipment, inventory, and designated storage areas Operate skid steers, loaders, excavators, and other equipment to load and unload trucks, trailers, and material deliveries Receive, inspect, incoming material and supply deliveries Support field crews by staging equipment and materials for upcoming jobs Perform basic preventative maintenance and inspections on trucks, trailers, and yard equipment REQUIREMENTS Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record Minimum of 2–3 years of commercial driving experience, including hauling trailers and heavy equipment Experience safely loading, securing, transporting, and unloading heavy equipment Proficiency operating skid steers, loaders, excavators, and/or similar heavy machinery Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Physically capable of working outdoors and lifting heavy materials Ability to work independently, prioritize daily responsibilities, and adapt to changing operational needs WINTER OPERATIONS During the winter season, this position will transition into supporting our Snow and Ice Management operations, including snow plowing and salt application. All employees remain on-call during winter weather events to ensure timely and reliable service to our clients.
