Truck Driver/Shipping and Receiving

Overview We are seeking a dependable Truck Driver to support local deliveries and shipping and receiving operations. Deliveries are primarily within Nelson County. The ideal candidate has experience driving box trucks or semis, works safely, and takes pride in accurate, timely deliveries. A CDL is preferred but is not required for assignments involving vehicles that do not require one. A driving record check is required, and applicants must meet company insurance requirements. Responsibilities Safely transport goods between facilities and delivery locations, primarily within Nelson County. Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other appropriate equipment. Verify shipments for accuracy and complete all required delivery documentation. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly. Assist with shipping, receiving, order picking, packing, and inventory organization. Follow traffic laws, workplace safety procedures, and safe cargo-handling practices. Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and work area. Qualifications Previous experience driving box trucks or semis. Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle being operated. Driving record that meets company insurance requirements. Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, or a related field preferred. Ability to safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks. Basic math skills and attention to detail for inventory counts and shipment verification. Ability to safely perform the loading and unloading duties of the position. Dependability, clear communication, and a professional attitude.
