Truck Driver/Rigger

Job Summary As a Truck Driver/Rigger, you’ll transport materials and equipment to construction sites and support safe lifting operations. You’ll operate commercial vehicles and material handling equipment, prepare loads for crane lifts, and coordinate shipping and receiving. Your impact: Careful load securing and safe crane support help crews move materials efficiently while protecting workers and equipment. Responsibilities Drive commercial trucks and inspect vehicles, boom trucks, and lifting equipment before use. Apply load handling procedures for crane operations, including rigging, load securing methods, and overhead crane support. Operate cranes and material handling equipment; assist with heavy equipment tasks, including backhoe operation when assigned. Load, unload, secure, and document materials during shipping and receiving. Follow safety protocols, use required safety equipment, and apply Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety standards and construction workplace safety regulations. Qualifications Experience with commercial driving, construction sites, materials handling, and material handling equipment operation. Working knowledge of rigging, crane operation, overhead cranes, hydraulics, and load securing methods. Familiarity with lifting equipment, heavy equipment operation, and backhoe operation; boom truck experience is useful. Knowledge of safety regulations and demonstrated safety protocol adherence. Mechanical knowledge and the ability to follow load handling procedures and applicable safety requirements. Pay: $2,600.00 - $3,000.00 per week Work Location: On the road
