Truck Driver Recruiter

This position will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified truck drivers (CDL holders) for the purpose of driving company asset vehicles. They will also manage the pipeline from first contact to onboarding while ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards. Sourcing Candidates : Find qualified drivers via job boards, social media, cold calling, and industry networking, among other qualifying avenues. Screening & Interviewing : Conduct phone or video interviews to evaluate driving experience and qualifications. Ensuring Compliance : Verify Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) requirements. Managing Applicant Data : Track candidate status using specialized ATS software like proprietary software and company files. Facilitating Onboarding : Guide applicants through paperwork, background checks, and orientation. Qualifications & Skills Experience : 1 to 3 years in sales, recruiting, customer service, or the trucking industry. Education : High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree in human resources or business is a plus. Communication : Strong interpersonal and phone sales skills to "sell" company pay and benefits. Knowledge : Familiarity with CDL classes, MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) checks, and DOT regulations. Pay: From $25.00 per hour Work Location: Hybrid remote in Fresno, CA 93722
