Job Summary Family owned trucking company needs Experienced OTR driver for 26 ft box truck non-CDL. $200 per day guarantee. Tavares Florida area of truck home base. Clean driving record a MUST. Responsibilities Operate commercial trucks adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, securing it properly to prevent damage during transit. Navigate assigned routes efficiently while maintaining delivery schedules. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or delays. Ensure compliance with all company policies and safety regulations while on the road. Experience Proven experience in truck driving OTR Clean driving record required-Motor Vehicle Record Knowledge of route driving techniques and best practices for load management. Previous experience in transporting various types of cargo is advantageous. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to truck driving and cargo handling.
