This role involves operating box trucks and smaller company vehicles to deliver goods efficiently and safely across designated routes. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, clean driving records, experience in warehouse operations, and a commitment to adhering to traffic regulations and safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and company vehicles for local transportation of equipment and furniture, ensuring timely arrival at designated destinations Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices Manage route driving efficiently, utilizing mobile devices for navigation and delivery updates Adhere strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws during all driving activities Maintain accurate delivery documentation and complete all required logs in compliance with company policies Assist with warehouse operations, including inventory management, material handling, and moving goods within the facility Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance issues promptly, and ensure vehicles are kept in optimal condition Follow safety protocols for heavy lifting, weight handling in the workplace, and safe operation of vehicles Support team efforts by load & unload activities, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transit Experience Prior experience in delivery driving or courier roles involving van or box truck operation Warehouse experience with familiarity in material handling equipment such as pallet jacks Proven ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently Knowledge of commercial truck driving principles and adherence to DOT regulations Experience with route planning, mobile device usage for navigation, and delivery documentation Candidates with a background in warehouse operations, commercial driving, or delivery services will find this role an excellent fit.
