Truck Driver (Non-CDL)

In this energetic role, you’ll be responsible for safely transporting general freight using box trucks and ensuring timely deliveries to our valued vendors. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks with automatic transmission across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring items are secured properly for transit. Deliver goods promptly to various locations, providing excellent customer service by assisting with freight placement. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues immediately. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery records to ensure smooth operations and accountability. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate routes, schedules, and address any delivery challenges. Requirements Valid driver’s license with experience Amazon Relay using 26’ Box Trucks. Proven delivery driver experience with familiarity in route driving, load & unload and transportation procedures. Ability to lift heavy items using a provided pallet jack. Experience operating pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is mandatory; training can be provided. Strong driving skills with knowledge of safety protocols for automatic transmission vehicles; Clean driving record required. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with ship clerks and owners. Warehouse experience is advantageous for handling inventory and logistical support tasks.
