Job Title: Driver / Mover Company: First Impression Home Staging Location: Apex, NC Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly (Non-Exempt) Reports To: Chief Operations Officer Pay Range: $20 – $25 per hour Schedule: Monday – Friday 9am – 5:30pm Job Description Join our team at First Impression Home Staging as a Driver / Mover. We are looking for a detail-oriented, reliable individual to handle the movement, maintenance, and logistics of our staging inventory. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe transport of furniture, supporting inventory accuracy, and maintaining order, safety, and cleanliness of our operation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Driving Operate a 17′–20′ box truck to transport staging materials and furniture Follow delivery schedules and routes to meet project timelines Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, keep the truck clean and organized, and promptly report maintenance or safety issues Moving Furniture Safely load, unload, and secure furniture on the truck, at project locations, and in the warehouse Collaborate with the staging team to place items according to each project's staging plan Inventory Management Maintain the StageForce inventory system by updating it after each staging and de-staging Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy, reporting discrepancies, damage, or missing items to management Packing and Handling Pack artwork and accessories securely for transportation Handle items with care to prevent damage to inventory and client property Overtime and Flexibility Overtime is not typically required; however, occasional extra hours may be needed to meet project deadlines and will be paid in accordance with the law applicable. No weekend work is required. Adapt to changing schedules, which may include occasional early, late, or weekend hours Qualifications and Requirements Ability to frequently lift 30lb – 40lbs, occasionally team lift to 100 lbs. (with or without reasonable accommodation), and to push, pull, bend, and stand for extended periods Valid North Carolina driver's license and at least 2 years of box-truck or commercial driving experience (CDL not required). GVWR is less than 26,001 lbs. Acceptable driving record per company and insurance requirements (no major violations or more than 2 moving violations in the past 5 years) Finalists (post interview with conditional offer) will be asked to provide a copy of their NC driving record (Complete Extract) Detail-oriented, positive, and team-oriented Takes accountability for actions and work quality Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work independently Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and random drug testing, in accordance with company policy and applicable law Adherence to the company dress code and safety guidelines Basic tablet or computer skills to use the StageForce inventory system, and the ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients Benefits Competitive hourly pay Paid time off If you meet the qualifications above and are ready to join our team, please apply for consideration.
