Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Truck Driver or Helper and be a vital part of our logistics and distribution operations! In this energetic role, you'll assist with the safe loading, unloading, and transportation of goods, ensuring that shipments move smoothly from warehouse to delivery point. Your mechanical aptitude and warehouse experience will help you thrive in a fast-paced environment where teamwork, safety, and efficiency are key. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in heavy equipment operation with lifting heavy appliances to accomplish the final mile delivery goals. Hours of Operation: Tuesday to Friday ( 4-5 days a week) Duties loading and unloading cargo using equipment such as forklifts, dolly’s. Delivering appliances to the customers safely. Operate heavy equipment like forklifts, cranes, or clamp trucks safely and efficiently to move goods within the warehouse or onto trucks. Basic installation of appliances such as connecting washers and dryers. Hauling away old appliances from customers' places. Aid in warehouse distribution tasks, including organizing stock and maintaining a clean, safe work environment Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related construction experience Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting basic equipment issues Skilled in order picking, load & unload procedures, and heavy lifting techniques Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and other warehouse machinery Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and documentation Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse activities Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to supporting drivers and warehouse staffThis role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in logistics operations while contributing to a high-energy team environment.
