Truck Driver

Job Summary: STORsquare is looking for a dependable, safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to support long-distance transportation of storage containers between company locations. The successful candidate will operate a 53’ step-deck flatbed trailer and sleeper tractor-trailer, with most workdays spent on the road. As the role develops, the driver may also deliver containers to customer locations outside our current service areas. Job Responsibilities: - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor, 53’ step-deck flatbed trailer, and related equipment - Safely transport and move storage containers between STORsquare locations over long distances - Secure containers and other cargo properly and verify loads before departure - Operate a full-size 53’ tractor-trailer and flatbed in compliance with applicable DOT regulations and safety standards - Plan and follow assigned routes and schedules, communicating delays or issues to the appropriate team - Maintain accurate trip, inspection, delivery, and other required transportation records - Provide professional, courteous service when interacting with team members, customers, and site contacts - Deliver containers to customer locations outside current STORsquare locations as assigned - Assist with local driving or delivery schedules as needed - Keep the truck, trailer, and equipment clean and in good working condition; report maintenance or safety concerns promptly - Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of a growing business Job Requirements: - Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License - Clean Motor Vehicle Record - Current, hands-on experience driving full-size 53’ tractor-trailers and flatbed trailers - Ability and willingness to travel long distances and spend most workdays on the road - Ability to comply with DOT regulations and company safety requirements - Ability to pass company driving test, background check, and drug screening - Reliable, safety-conscious, professional, and able to communicate effectively Compensation/Other: - $25-27 per hour - Full-time position, expected to average 40 hours per week - A four-day, 10-hour schedule - Sleeper tractor-trailer provided for long-distance trips STORsquare is a mobile storage container company that offers clear and consistent pricing, excellent customer service, and a superior-looking, stronger, and more functional container than our competitors.
