Job Summary Abadi Horizon Ventures is a St. John's-based transport and logistics company moving freight across Newfoundland and beyond. Our drivers are the face of our business on the road, and we treat them accordingly—with steady work, well-maintained equipment, and a team that has their back. We're looking for professional drivers who take safety and reliability seriously. As our Truck Driver, you'll haul freight on regional and long-haul routes from St. John's, delivering goods safely and on schedule. You'll complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate logs, and represent our company professionally at every stop. Responsibilities Operate tractor-trailers safely on regional and long-haul routes Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance issues promptly Secure loads and ensure cargo is protected during transport Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation Plan routes and adapt to weather, traffic, and delivery changes Provide professional, courteous service at pickup and delivery points Comply with all provincial and federal transportation regulations Qualifications Valid Class 1 (AZ) driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract 2+ years of professional truck driving experience Knowledge of NL highways and long-haul routes is an asset Strong safety mindset and familiarity with hours-of-service rules Ability to lift and secure cargo as required Reliability, punctuality, and comfort working independently Air brake endorsement and clean criminal record check Experience with reefer, flatbed, or dry van is an asset Pay: $29.92-$39.01 per hour Benefits: Extended health care On-site parking Application question(s): How many years of professional truck driving experience do you have?
