Role Description The Truck Driver role at Railroad Global LLC is a full-time, on-site position based in Dallas, TX. The Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating company trucks to transport freight to designated locations, following assigned routes and schedules. Daily tasks include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing and unloading cargo as needed, and maintaining accurate logbooks and delivery records. The role also involves adhering to all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures while communicating effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams. Drivers are expected to keep equipment clean, report maintenance issues promptly, and provide professional customer service during pickups and deliveries. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong truck operation skills, including Truck Driving experience with commercial vehicles. Candidates should possess a valid CDL Class A or B license and a clean driving record. Candidates should possess knowledge of DOT Regulations and related safety and compliance requirements. Candidates should possess experience with basic freight handling, including Unloading and securement of cargo. Candidates should possess reliable time management, route planning, and attention to detail for documentation and logs. Candidates should possess the ability to meet physical requirements of the role, such as prolonged driving and occasional lifting. Previous experience in regional or long-haul trucking is beneficial. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with a commitment to safe, professional driving practices.
