Overview Join our dynamic team as a Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across various routes. In this vital role, you will operate a range of commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Duties Safely operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers, on over-the-road (OTR) routes and local deliveries Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques while following proper safety procedures Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across multiple locations Transport hazardous materials (Hazmat) in compliance with hazardous materials regulations and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) guidelines Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance issues promptly Handle logistics cargo with precision, managing freight securely during transportation and delivery processes Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving with a focus on freight handling Knowledge of refrigerated trailer operations, flatbed loads, tanker trucks, and automobile transportation methods Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and manual handling techniques for load & unload procedures Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, hazardous materials regulations, and dangerous goods handling Excellent navigation skills utilizing GPS systems for efficient route planning on OTR routes Ability to load & unload cargo safely while adhering to truck loading/unloading protocols Experience in delivery driver roles with a focus on customer service and timely deliveries Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise makes a real difference!
