Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Your expertise will help maintain our reputation for reliability and excellence in freight transportation. This position offers an exciting opportunity for drivers passionate about over-the-road (OTR) driving, route driving, and delivering freight efficiently and securely. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and specialized equipment for transporting hazardous materials and dangerous goods. Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across OTR routes and local destinations. Load and unload freight manually or with equipment, ensuring proper handling of logistics cargo while adhering to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations. Comply with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and other safety standards during all phases of transportation. Manage the transportation of automobile parts or vehicles via automobile transportation protocols when required. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and delivery documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations. Perform routine vehicle inspections, basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure safety on the road. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving. Skilled in operating trucks with manual transmission and manual handling techniques. Familiarity with logistics cargo handling, load & unload procedures, and truck loading/unloading processes. Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations and safe handling of dangerous goods during transport. Ability to operate GPS navigation systems effectively for route planning and real-time adjustments. Experience with refrigerated trailers or specialized equipment such as flatbeds or tankers is preferred. Strong understanding of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, and hazardous materials regulations to ensure compliance at all times.
