This position is ideal for a professional driver who takes pride in safe driving, proper load securement, and reliable deliveries. Drivers will haul concrete pipe to designated construction sites and return home daily. We are looking for someone who is punctual, hardworking, and comfortable working around construction equipment and jobsite conditions. Please note that work is weather-dependent, and rain may affect the work schedule and availability. Pay and Schedule - $300 per full workday when the full workday is completed. - Home daily — no regular overnight trips. - Full-time position. - Work schedules may vary depending on weather and construction-site conditions. - Weekly earnings depend on the number of full workdays completed and available work. Job Responsibilities - Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer to haul concrete pipe. - Deliver concrete pipe to designated construction sites. - Ensure loads are properly secured and inspected before transport. - Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. - Follow all applicable DOT and FMCSA regulations. - Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and construction-site personnel. - Follow site-specific safety procedures when entering and leaving construction sites. - Maintain required driving logs and delivery paperwork. - Report equipment issues, delays, or safety concerns promptly. Qualifications - Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A). - Safe driving record and commitment to safe operating practices. - Reliable, punctual, and professional. - Ability to perform required inspections and load-securement duties. - Experience hauling concrete pipe, construction materials, or flatbed freight is preferred. - Must meet applicable DOT driver qualification requirements.
