Truck Driver Class A OTR

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Truck Driver Class A OTR (Over-the-Road), where you will be the driving force behind our logistics operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, and dump trucks. You will be responsible for safely transporting freight across long distances, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service on the road. Duties Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers and other commercial trucks with manual transmissions across regional and national routes Load and unload freight using forklifts or manual methods, ensuring proper handling of refrigerated goods, flatbed cargo, tankers, or roll-off containers Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to guarantee vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and delivery documentation in accordance with federal and state laws Route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to safety standards and traffic laws Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery statuses, or any issues encountered on the road Assist with special deliveries such as tanker loads or oversized freight requiring additional safety precautions Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) Class A license Experience handling refrigerated trailers, tankers Strong knowledge of route planning and navigation for long-distance driving across diverse terrains Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with transportation regulations Familiarity with freight handling procedures for various cargo types including refrigerated goods and hazardous materials if applicableEmbark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise makes a real impact!
