Truck Driver Class A CDL

Kaufman Trailers is a premier trailer manufacturer that sells direct to the public and has been in business for 35+ years. We are currently looking to hire Class A CDL licensed drivers to deliver our trailer products to our customers. This position would be based out of our Lexington, NC branch. Position Overview: The Class A CDL Truck Driver will be responsible for transportation and delivery of trailer products to customer locations within a specific regional base. This region generally is any area east of the Mississippi River with some infrequent exceptions. Additional responsibilities may include delivery/pick-up of raw materials and other back haul loads when applicable. Drivers are expected to operate safely and strictly within all Company and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations at all times. Driving schedule mostly consist of leaving from Lexington, NC on Monday morning and returning the following Friday. The company makes every effort for the driver to be home for a two day weekend in most cases. We offer a competitive pay and benefits package, including a Performance Bonus program. Basic Requirements: Possess a current and valid Class A CDL with air brake endorsement. Safe driving record. Preferred Qualifications but not required: Previous experience with electronic, on-board record keeping systems. Previous experience working in customer facing roles. Benefits & Compensation: Truck Drivers are compensated through component pay for mileage plus $200-$250 per week in stop pay and back-haul pay. Average annual compensation for Truck Drivers is approximately $80k - $95k.
