Truck Driver Class A CDL

Overview We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. This job is based out of Whitesboro NY. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials over short or long distances while adhering to all safety regulations. Responsibilities - Safely operate various types of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and roll-off trucks - Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts - Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently - Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns - Maintain accurate driving logs and complete necessary paperwork - Communicate with dispatchers and team members effectively Skills - Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record - Experience with load securement and safe cargo handling practices - Ability to operate different types of trucks and trailers, including refrigerated trailers and flatbeds - Strong understanding of DOT regulations and traffic laws - Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation Job Type: Full-time Pay: $200.00 - $300.00 per day Trucking Driver Type: Company driver Trucking Route: OTR Experience: Commercial driving: 5 years (Required) Driving: 5 years (Required) License/Certification: CDL A (Required) Ability to Relocate: Utica, NY: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: On the road
