Truck Driver Class A

Overview Pallet Bros is seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, including driving 53ft flatbeds, 53ft dry-vans, and coordinating deliveries/pickups for high volume clients. All routes will stay in the state of TX and driver can expect to be home daily! Minimum 24 months of verifiable experience required. Great pay & new equipment. Additional bonuses for referrals, safety, & more. Monday-Friday, occasional Saturdays as requested, 9-hour shifts. Each driver is guaranteed a minimum 9 hours per day, regardless of whether or not they drive that long. Often times the shift ends with 1-2 hours remaining, but the driver still gets 9 full hours. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting pallets to designated locations. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the cargo. Responsibilities Operate various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers and flatbeds, adhering to all safety regulations. Execute route driving efficiently to ensure timely deliveries while following designated routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Manage loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that may occur during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving, including familiarity with flatbeds, dry-vans, and manual transmission vehicles. Strong understanding of route planning and navigation skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Commitment to safety practices and protocols in all aspects of driving. About Pallet Bros.
