Optimus Cargo Carriers Ltd. | Nisku, AB CLASS 1 TRUCK DRIVERS | FLATBED (AB/SK) & USA REEFER Optimus Cargo Carriers Ltd. is expanding our team and actively hiring experienced, reliable, and professional Class 1 Truck Drivers for two types of operations. 1. LOCAL / REGIONAL FLATBED DRIVERS – ALBERTA & SASKATCHEWAN Operate flatbed trailers throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan Pick up and deliver freight safely and on schedule Experience with load securement, straps, chains, binders, and tarping Knowledge of flatbed safety procedures Local and regional routes 2. LONG-HAUL REEFER DRIVERS – CANADA / USA WIDE Operate refrigerated trailers on Canada–USA routes Long-haul operations throughout the United States Experience with cross-border transportation preferred Knowledge of reefer temperature monitoring and handling Must have a valid passport and be eligible to enter the USA Comfortable with extended trips and long-distance driving WHAT WE OFFER Competitive pay based on experience Consistent freight and work opportunities Well-maintained trucks and trailers Supportive and professional dispatch team Friendly and respectful working environment Long-term employment opportunities GENERAL REQUIREMENTS Valid Class 1 driver's licence with air brake endorsement Clean driver's abstract Relevant commercial driving experience Knowledge of ELD and hours-of-service regulations Strong commitment to safety and professionalism Reliable, punctual, and hardworking Ability to complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections Must be legally authorized to work in Canada Job Type: Full-time Pay: $7,500.00-$8,500.00 per month Work Location: On the road
