Truck Driver Class A

We are looking for experienced flatbed and container truck drivers in the greater Seattle/Tacoma area who hold a valid Twic card! Responsibilities Load and deliver materials to and from Seattle/Tacoma terminals going to customers in the greater washington and Oregon area. Must hold a valid Twic card and be able to access all Seattle and Tacoma ports Must be able and willing to drive in the snow and go over mountain passes! Inspect vehicles for pre trip and post trip mechanical items and safety issues Meet delivery schedules Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents or violations Skills Proven work experience as a truck driver minimum 1 years experience Must Hold a valid TWIC card Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly in all weather conditions Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc) Valid truck driving license Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $35.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Paid training Vision insurance Experience: Driving: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: TWIC Card (Required) Work Location: Multiple locations
