Truck Driver - Class 3
BMC Seafoods LTD.5 Ton Box Truck Driver (Class 5 with Air Brakes, or Class 3) BMC Seafoods is looking for a reliable and safety-focused 5-ton box truck driver to join our operations team. This role involves driving, labour, and hands-on work at local wharves. Key Responsibilities: Operate a 5-ton box truck to travel to local wharves to offload fishing vessels using a winch Handle and move frozen bait products Assist with order preparation, loading, and general labor tasks Perform maintenance and facility tasks during slower summer season Qualifications: Valid Class 5 license with Air Brake endorsement, or Class 3 License, and clean driver abstract Experience driving trucks is required, with preference for prior insured driving work Experience with forklifts, equipment, and wharf work is preferred but full training will be provided Ability to perform physical labour in varied weather conditions, including lifting boxes up to 50 lbs, and lobster crates of 100 lbs with a partner Willingness to follow all safety procedures and company guidelines What BMC Offers: Competitive wages, based on experience Full training on winch operations, and safe work practices Varied tasks throughout the year Group Health insurance benefits How to Apply: Please send your resume to cedric@bmcseafoods.ca or contact us directly at 902-645-2597.
