Truck Driver - Class 3

Overview We are looking for a reliable, self motivated, safety focused Class 3 Driver to join our growing team in Winnipeg. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles (I.e. Class 3 tandem dump trucks) delivering materials & equipment to job sites, and providing professional customer service Responsibilities Safely operate Class 3 trucks to transport freight to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load securement Load and unload freight using end dump or other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs for compliance purposes Assist with basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor mechanical issues to ensure vehicle readiness Collaborate with staff & customers to coordinate freight movement and ensure timely deliveries Follow all safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling Requirements Valid Class 3 commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record Experience operating heavy trucks and freight transportation vehicles Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and basic automotive repair skills Ability to perform detailed pre-trip inspections and adhere to safety standards Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients Physical ability to lift heavy loads, operate machinery, and work in various weather conditions This role is an excellent fit for self motivated drivers who are eager to develop their skills in commercial driving while ensuring safe transportation practices.
