Job Summary The Truck Driver - Class 1 vehicle transport safely and reliably, supporting timely deliveries and smooth coordination across daily operations. The role involves vehicle checks, route planning, driving a number of different vehicles and communication with dispatch and delivery contacts. Responsibilities Operate a commercial vehicle to transport vehicles along assigned routes, following applicable road and site procedures. Inspect the vehicle before and after trips, report defects, and complete accurate trip and delivery records. Load, secure, and unload c using a forklift or other appropriate equipment, following safe handling practices. Coordinate schedules and delivery updates with dispatch, and report delays or equipment concerns promptly. Skills Required: Practical commercial driving capability, safe freight handling, attention to detail, and clear communication are essential for completing routes, securing loads, and maintaining accurate records. Preferred: heavy equipment operation, and basic automotive repair skills are useful strengths; related experience can support efficient loading and help identify vehicle issues.
