Truck Driver - Class 1

MINIMUM 2 YEARS DRIVING EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Class 1 Truck Driver to join our transportation team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty trucks to transport freight across various routes with in Saskatchewan, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining excellent customer service. Your expertise in commercial driving will be essential to keep our operations running smoothly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced logistics environment where safety, efficiency, and professionalism are top priorities. This position is delivering groceries within Saskatchewan with some route outside the province. Typically home daily. Start time is usually around 1 AM, home early afternoon. Rotating weekends off. Trucks are kept near Warman, thus, it is required to drive to the location of the truck and then travel to Saskatoon to the warehouse. Indoor parking available for personal vehicles. Duties Safely operate Class 1 trucks to transport freight over long and short distances, adhering strictly to traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight using a pallet jack , ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and ensure compliance with safety standards Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs for compliance and tracking purposes Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve any delivery issues promptly Qualifications Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record Clean drivers abstract and criminal record Ability to pass a drug test Proven experience in commercial driving Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, loading, and unloading freight regularly Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety at all times Pay: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year Benefits: Casual dress On-site parking Paid vacation Work Location: In person
