Truck Driver - Class 1

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate heavy equipment. Description Thursday to Sunday 4 days a week schedule Pick up loaded trailer on Thursday early morning around 1-4AM from Langley and go to Kelowna or Okanagan valley and come home same day Friday same pick up but go to Kamloops and Valemount and come home next morning Sunday same pick up and go to Kelowna or Okanagan Valley and come home same day Multiple deliveries Truck yard in Surrey Around 6500-7300 miles a month Responsibilities Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery receipts. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. Must have good backing up skills. 2 years Experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record is essential. Mountain driving experience required 4 weeks notice required if any specific day off needed during your schedule Pay $0.68/ MILE $25 paid everyday for each on time pick up ( We need you to be at pick up 40 minutes before your departure time) $20 per delivery after first delivery $100 monthly for NO SICK CALL Safety bonus paid after 3 months if no violation, or damage to any equipment If you are a motivated individual who enjoys driving and has a passion for delivering exceptional service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as a Truck Driver.
