Truck Driver CDL Class A

We are looking for dedicated and professional truck drivers to handle unassigned, FedEx Ground runs from the Romeoville area safely and efficiently! **Local Solo CDL Driver** JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Must possess one year of verifiable Tractor Trailer experience in the last three years. Must be able to pass a background check. Clean Motor Vehicle Record- No accidents or tickets in the past 3 years. Must have or be ready to attain a doubles/triples endorsement. Ability to follow instructions and complete required training. Complete Background Check, MVR Screening, login to Clearinghouse, and take a Drug Test. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate tractor-trailer combination, including doubles (and triples, where applicable) Perform daily pre-trip/ post-trip and safety inspections on equipment Drop & Hook Only. No-touch Freight! Verify and complete required documentation and reports Maintain accurate daily logs Follow dispatch instructions and communicate with dispatch (e.g. delays, arrivals, equipment problems), as required Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures Perform other duties as required PAY AND BENEFITS: Weekly Pay Pay : $240/day Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Paid Time off Paid Training Driver Requirements : Must be available to work PM Linehaul shifts starting at approximately 8:00 PM . Must be able to work 8–10 hours per shift , 6 days per week . Doubles endorsement is required. Previous doubles driving experience is preferred. Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) .
