Truck Driver CDL A- (Local Work, AM Shift & Weekly Pay)

We are seeking a motivated CDL A Truck Driver for local work on an AM shift with weekly pay. Duties Safely operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers with manual transmissions, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Drive route-specific deliveries using GPS navigation, managing logistics cargo handling for freight. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with hazardous materials regulations Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in accordance with DOT regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route status, delivery times, and any issues encountered during trips Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving on local routes with route driving responsibilities Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and automobile transportation equipment Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and DOT safety standards Proficiency in GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and execution Ability to handle manual transmission trucks confidently and safely Experience in logistics cargo handling, load & unload procedures, and truck loading/unloading techniques Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, hazard awareness, and defensive driving practices Join us to enjoy a lively work environment where your driving skills make a real impact!
