You’ll operate refrigerated trailers navigating over-the-road (OTR) routes with precision and professionalism. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles following FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Drive over-the-road (OTR) routes, managing long-distance deliveries with efficiency and safety. Load, secure, transport, and unload freight including hazardous materials, dangerous goods, refrigerated items, flatbed cargo, and tanker loads. Use GPS navigation systems to follow optimized routes while adjusting for traffic or road conditions. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with all regulations. Handle manual transmission trucks with skill, including manual handling of logistics cargo handling tasks. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in accordance with FMCSA regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates or delivery issues. Qualifications Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including tractor-trailer operation and route driving. Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and hazardous materials regulations. Ability to operate trucks with manual transmission confidently. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT standards, and hazardous materials handling procedures. Strong skills in GPS navigation and route planning for efficient delivery schedules. Physical ability to load/unload freight manually when required; must be able to lift heavy cargo safely. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, compliance, and customer service.
