The Opportunity As a Truck Driver CDL A, you will do more than just move freight from point A to point B. You will be trusted to safely load, transport, and deliver materials, operate a variety of equipment, and be the face of our company to customers every day. This role is a strong fit for an experienced, safety-conscious driver who takes pride in doing the job right, enjoys working with different types of equipment, and wants a stable, hands-on driving role with consistent expectations and clear responsibilities. What You'll Do Safely operate commercial vehicles, including semi-tractors, trailers, straight trucks, and related equipment, to transport materials to and from designated locations. Load, secure, and unload materials in line with company procedures and safety standards, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement. Perform routine vehicle inspections, fueling, cleaning, and basic maintenance, and coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs as needed. Complete all required documentation accurately and on time while complying with DOT, OSHA, and all applicable regulations and company policies. Communicate professionally with dispatch, management, and customers, support safe operations in the yard or warehouse as needed, and maintain reliable attendance. What Success Looks Like Consistently completes routes and deliveries safely and on schedule, with accurate paperwork and no preventable incidents. Maintains vehicles and equipment in good working condition through regular inspections, basic maintenance, and timely reporting of issues. Builds a reputation for professionalism and customer service, representing the company well at every pick-up and delivery. Actively supports and follows all safety procedures, contributing to a strong safety culture and dependable daily operations. What We're Looking For Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and current DOT medical card, with the ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and related equipment. Working knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) and a strong commitment to safety and attention to detail. Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally, and working in varying weather and road conditions. Reliable, professional, and customer-focused driver with strong communication skills, integrity, and a willingness to learn company procedures.
