Truck Driver CDL

True North Asphalt is looking for CDL Drivers to join our team! True North is an asphalt and concrete construction company located in Madison Heights that serves the south east portion of Michigan. We are looking for next year as this is a seasonal position. Our season runs from Mid April to Late October Responsibilities: Safely operate company trucks and trailers to transport construction equipment, asphalt mix, materials, and supplies to and from job sites. Haul heavy construction equipment, including skid steers, rollers, pavers, milling machines, excavators, loaders, and other jobsite equipment as assigned. Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations. Inspect trucks, trailers, equipment, tie-downs, chains, straps, and other securing devices before and after each trip. Transport hot-mix asphalt from asphalt plants to paving and construction job sites in a safe and timely manner. Coordinate with plant personnel, dispatchers, foremen, and paving crews regarding pickup, delivery, and jobsite requirements. Safely maneuver trucks and trailers in tight construction areas, active roadways, plants, and job sites. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour Work Location: In person
