Inclusive Excellence Statement Advertised Job Summary Drives large, heavy, and specialized on road vehicles having complex technical operating requirements and maintains vehicle and waste equipment relating to environmental service programs serving designated facilities on the Columbia campus of the University of South Carolina. Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications - High school diploma and five years driving with a CDL. Additional Comments Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Good driving record, attention to detail, attendance and reliability. Safety minded. Initiative. Team work. Ability to operate a variety of heavy equipment and vehicles. - Knowledge of local, state and federal laws and regulations applicable to equipment operation and waste hauling. - Considerable knowledge of the hazards of equipment operation and of appropriate safety precautions. Ability to keep written records.
