Truck Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks to transport freight efficiently across designated routes. Your expertise in handling different trailer types, including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, and dump trucks, will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our supply chain operations with energy and precision. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial trucks, including manual transmission vehicles and specialized equipment such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and roll-off trucks Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment like forklifts or manual methods, ensuring secure placement and adherence to safety protocols Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, checking brakes, tires, lights, and cargo securement to prevent accidents or delays Follow designated routes for delivery and pick-up tasks while optimizing efficiency and adhering to traffic laws and company policies Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and vehicle maintenance reports in compliance with regulatory requirements Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes, delivery schedules, or any issues encountered during transit Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including loading freight onto trucks or assisting with inventory management Experience Proven experience as a commercial truck driver with a focus on route driving and freight delivery Familiarity with operating manual transmission trucks and handling various trailer types such as refrigerated units, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks Prior experience in load & unload operations using forklifts or manual methods preferred Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the truck types operated (e.g., tanker endorsement) Knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking operations and cargo securement standards Ability to perform detailed vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks confidently Strong driving skills with a clean driving record demonstrating responsible operation of large vehicles Join us in delivering excellence on every route!
