Truck Driver

Job Overview Join our transportation team as a Truck Driver and keep freight moving safely and reliably. You’ll operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, on local delivery and over-the-road (OTR) routes. Assignments may involve refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or automobile transportation, depending on operational needs. This role requires safe driving, careful cargo handling, and compliance with applicable transportation rules. Responsibilities Drive commercial vehicles on assigned delivery and route-driving schedules, using GPS navigation to follow routes and adjust safely as needed. Inspect vehicles and equipment before, during, and after trips; report defects and maintain required trip and delivery records. Load and unload freight, secure cargo, and perform manual handling in line with safe lifting and cargo-handling procedures. Transport general freight and, when assigned and properly qualified, hazardous materials or dangerous goods. Your impact: Safe, on-time deliveries help customers receive their freight while protecting the public and fellow road users. Qualifications Required: Valid commercial driver’s license appropriate for the assigned vehicle and cargo, plus a safe driving record. Required: Commercial truck driving, truck driving, commercial driving, or delivery driver experience; ability to operate a manual transmission where required. Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations; follow hazardous materials rules when handling regulated cargo. Preferred: Experience with OTR routes, delivery driving, logistics cargo handling, and truck loading and unloading. Preferred: Experience with refrigerated trailers, automobile transportation, flatbed or tanker equipment, and hazmat (hazardous materials) freight.
