Role/Equipment Description The Truck Driver – Auto Hauling (Company Driver) role is a full-time position based at our headquarters in Billings, Missouri. The driver is responsible for safely operating a truck and auto hauling trailer, loading and securing vehicles, transporting them to designated locations, and unloading them upon arrival. Daily tasks include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, following all DOT and company safety regulations, maintaining accurate logs and delivery documentation, and communicating with dispatch about schedules and route updates. The driver will interact with customers and delivery locations in a professional manner while ensuring vehicles are handled with care. This role will involve regional or long-distance travel and requires adherence to company policies and performance standards. ALL trucks are new Western Star 47X Stinger-Steered Auto Haulers. Pay and Benefits Annual pay average of $80,000.00 - $100,000.00+ depending on workload and motivation to accomplish job tasks efficiently and on time. Pay is structured on ALL miles driven empty and loaded (Odometer mileage). Average of 130,000 - 160,000 miles per year. Layover/Detention pay. Company paid hotel and lodging program. Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license and clean driving record; demonstrated truck driving experience with auto hauling or similar freight. Ability to safely operate a truck and trailer, including loading, securing, and unloading vehicles with attention to detail. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, hours-of-service rules, and safety procedures; commitment to regulatory compliance. Experience performing truck inspections and basic equipment checks to ensure roadworthiness and safety. Reliable time management skills, with the ability to follow schedules and adapt to changing delivery requirements. Must have basic knowledge operating company supplied devices such as tablet, phone and/or printer. Professional communication skills for interacting with dispatch, customers, and team members. Physical ability to handle loading and unloading tasks, including climbing on equipment and working outdoors in varied conditions. Living within 3-5 hours drive of our facility for home time is a plus but not required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior 5+ year auto hauling experience is required.
