Truck Driver

Job Summary We are a growing Concrete Construction Supply and Rental company seeking a motivated and dependable Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight, mostly Concrete Construction supplies. Your expertise in route planning, vehicle handling, and compliance with safety regulations will ensure timely deliveries and uphold our commitment to excellence. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers, flatbeds, on local deliveries Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques, forklifts, skid steers, ensuring proper cargo securing according to logistics cargo handling standards Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems while adhering to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) guidelines Maintain accurate delivery logs, shift reports, and compliance documentation in accordance with FMCSA and DOT regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly Be willing to help out with miscellaneous work/sales while not driving Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving in various environments Knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures, including freight handling for flatbeds. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning Ability to operate manual transmission trucks safely and confidently Strong understanding of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation) Skilled in manual handling techniques for safe load & unload operations involving freight or cargo Join us if you’re passionate about driving safely while delivering essential goods across diverse routes!
