Truck Driver

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Truck Driver and take on the exciting challenge of transporting freight across diverse routes! In this vital role, you will operate various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. Your expertise in commercial truck driving and adherence to safety regulations will keep our operations running smoothly. Duties Safely operate different types of trucks such as tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers across over-the-road (OTR) routes Load and unload freight efficiently while following proper manual handling procedures Use GPS navigation systems to plan optimal routes and ensure timely deliveries Transport hazardous materials (hazmat) and dangerous goods in compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and hazardous materials regulations Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and cargo manifests in accordance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with safety standards Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery schedules, and any issues encountered during transit Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tanker trucks, and automobile transportation Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for truck driving Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently Skilled in logistics cargo handling, truck loading/unloading, and manual handling techniques Proficient in using GPS navigation systems for route planning and navigation accuracy Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with all federal and state transportation laws Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise fuels our success!
