Truck Driver

Job Overview As a Truck Driver, you’ll move freight safely and reliably across local and over-the-road (OTR) routes. You’ll use GPS navigation, follow assigned delivery plans, and handle cargo with care. Depending on the assignment, work may involve a refrigerated trailer, flatbed, tanker, or automobile transportation. This is a paid position. Responsibilities Drive commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, on route driving and OTR routes; complete pickups and deliveries on schedule. Load and unload freight, using safe manual handling and logistics cargo-handling practices. Inspect vehicles and cargo, secure loads, and report safety concerns or delivery issues. Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, and applicable hazardous materials and dangerous goods requirements. Your impact: Safe driving and careful cargo handling help customers receive freight reliably and protect other road users. Requirements Commercial truck driving and delivery driver experience; demonstrated truck driving, commercial driving, and delivery driving skills. Valid commercial driving credentials required for the assigned vehicle and cargo; ability to operate a manual transmission where needed. Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA rules, plus hazardous materials regulations when transporting hazmat or other dangerous goods. Ability to load and unload freight and perform manual handling safely. GPS navigation skills; experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, automobile transportation, or other specialized freight is preferred.
