Role Description This is a full-time remote Truck Driver role, operating primarily from the road while maintaining communication with dispatch and operations teams. The Truck Driver will safely operate a company truck to transport freight between designated locations, following assigned routes and schedules. Day-to-day tasks include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing loads, and ensuring proper unloading at destinations. The role involves adhering to all DOT regulations, completing required logs and documentation, and reporting any maintenance or safety issues. The driver will coordinate with dispatch, manage time effectively to meet delivery windows, and represent WEST CONTRACT professionally with customers and partners. Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license and a safe driving record, with demonstrated truck driving experience. Ability to operate and maneuver a truck safely under various road, weather, and traffic conditions. Experience with loading and unloading freight, including safe handling and securing of cargo. Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements, including hours-of-service and inspection standards. Strong attention to safety, reliability, and adherence to company policies and procedures. Good communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, customers, and team members. Ability to work independently on the road, manage time efficiently, and adapt to changing schedules. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in commercial trucking or logistics is beneficial.
