Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Paid time off Benefits/Perks Competitive Pay Job Summary A local, family-owned, small company is looking to hire a CDL , CLASS B driver that has a HAZMAT . We sell and service Industrial Batteries and Chargers through Minnesota and neighboring states. The driver’s main responsibility would be to transport Industrial Batteries, install the batteries into the forklifts and remove the scrap battery from the customer’s facility. In addition to these core responsibilities, we’re looking for team member that is open to fulfilling other obligations. We pride ourselves on being a leader in customer service and having self-motivated, positive team members. The ideal candidate has experience driving trucks and makes safety a number one priority. Responsibilities Pick up materials and goods in one location and transport to another location. Perform routine safety inspections and preventative maintenance Plan the safest and most efficient routes of travel Maintain detailed driving log, including work periods and fuel expenses Comply with all company policies and driving laws Qualifications Previous experience as a Truck Driver is preferred Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) Familiarity with GPS systems Understanding of all relevant truck driving laws and regulations Clean driving record
