Role Description This full-time remote Truck Driver role involves operating commercial trucks to transport goods between designated locations, following planned routes and schedules. Day-to-day tasks include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring loads are properly secured, and safely driving in accordance with traffic laws and company policies. The driver is responsible for timely pickups and deliveries, completing required documentation, and maintaining communication with dispatch and logistics teams. Duties may also include assisting with unloading cargo, verifying shipment accuracy, and reporting any issues related to vehicle performance or delivery. This position is considered remote, as drivers perform their duties on the road, working independently while staying connected to the company through mobile and electronic communication systems. Qualifications Possess a valid CDL Class A license and demonstrate strong truck driving skills. Ability to perform safe loading and unloading of cargo, including proper handling and securing of freight. Knowledge of DOT regulations and adherence to all safety, hours-of-service, and compliance requirements. Experience operating commercial trucks and familiarity with basic truck maintenance checks. Clean driving record and ability to pass required background checks and drug/alcohol screenings. Strong time management skills and ability to work independently while following route plans and schedules. Effective communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, customers, and team members. Physical ability to sit for extended periods, handle cargo as needed, and work in varying weather conditions. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in commercial trucking or freight delivery is beneficial.
