Overview Join our dynamic team as a Truck Driver and take on an exciting role that keeps goods moving efficiently across various routes! As a vital part of our logistics operation, you will operate a range of commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. Your expertise in navigating over-the-road (OTR) routes, handling hazardous materials, and adhering to strict safety regulations will drive our success. This position offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team committed to excellence in transportation and logistics. Seeking Class A truck driver with 3 months or tractor trailer experience to haul dry good freight. Route includes local deliveries mainly to Northern Utah Distribution Centers average length 19 miles and average 3 turns per shift. No touch freight 5.5 days per week. 10 hours per week Start time Midnight to 4 AM and 2 pm to 5pm. Duties Safely operate commercial trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers across designated routes. Load and unload freight efficiently while complying with all safety and cargo handling protocols. Navigate using GPS systems to ensure accurate and timely deliveries on over-the-road (OTR) routes. Transport hazardous materials (hazmat) following all hazardous materials regulations and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) guidelines. Maintain compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, including hours of service, vehicle inspections, and safety standards. Load and secure freight properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit; handle logistics cargo with precision. Deliver goods to customers promptly while providing excellent customer service and ensuring delivery documentation is accurate. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving. Strong knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures, manual handling, and freight management. Familiarity with driving various types of trucks such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, refrigerated trailers, and automobile transportation units. Ability to operate GPS navigation systems confidently for efficient route planning. Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations (Hazmat) and dangerous goods handling procedures. Skilled in manual transmission operation and truck driving techniques for safe maneuvering on diverse routes. Understanding of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT regulations, and hazardous materials regulations to ensure compliance at all times.
