Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks including Class B Quint Axle Dump Truck while complying with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across multiple destinations. Load and unload freight efficiently using manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo safety and security during transit. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Maintain accurate documentation for delivery logs, shipment records, and compliance with all regulatory standards. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery schedules, or any issues encountered during transit. Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on freight delivery and route driving. Knowledge of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations required. Demonstrated ability to load and unload cargo safely using manual handling techniques. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and execution. Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL Class A or Class B) with endorsements relevant to the type of vehicle operated Experience in over-the-road (OTR) driving routes involving long-distance travel across states or regions preferred.
