Truck Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport goods to various destinations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and professionalism, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of vehicle operation and customer service. Duties Safely operate heavy trucks and commercial vehicles over designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods during transit. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any maintenance or safety issues. Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and other required documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules or issues encountered during routes. Assist with heavy lifting when loading or unloading cargo to ensure safety and efficiency. Follow all company policies and procedures related to transportation safety and compliance. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated. Proven experience driving heavy trucks or commercial vehicles, with a strong emphasis on safe driving practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of loading/unloading processes. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining accurate records. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently across multiple routes. Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items when necessary. Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour Work Location: On the road
