Truck Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. This role requires a strong understanding of DOT regulations, proficiency in manual transmission driving, and the ability to manage long hours on the road with professionalism. Duties Operate commercial trucks with a Class A CDL in compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Safely drive and navigate trucks over designated routes, ensuring timely delivery of goods. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and compliance standards. Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs as required by company policies and DOT regulations. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road. Manage manual transmission vehicles proficiently, demonstrating skill in shifting gears smoothly under various driving conditions. Ensure cargo is secured properly before departure and during transit to prevent damage or accidents. Experience Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, preferably with knowledge of long-haul or regional routes. Familiarity with DOT regulations related to commercial vehicle operation. Experience operating manual transmission trucks is required. Strong commitment to safety standards and regulatory compliance. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks associated with loading, unloading, and securing cargo. This position offers an opportunity for dedicated drivers to run regional routes while being home daily.
