Truck Driver

Overview Join our team as a Truck Driver and keep freight moving safely and reliably. You’ll operate commercial trucks on local delivery routes and over-the-road (OTR) driving routes, using GPS navigation to plan and follow assigned routes. Work may involve refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or automobile transportation, depending on the load and equipment. Your impact: Safe, timely deliveries help customers receive their freight in good condition and keep supply chains moving. Responsibilities Drive commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, with manual transmissions as assigned. Complete delivery driving and route driving while following dispatch instructions and documenting trips. Load and unload freight; handle logistics cargo and secure loads using appropriate manual handling practices. Inspect vehicles and trailers, including refrigerated equipment, and report maintenance or safety concerns. Transport hazardous materials or dangerous goods only when authorized, following applicable handling and documentation procedures. Experience Experience in truck driving, commercial driving, or delivery driver work is preferred. Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations is important; follow applicable hazardous materials regulations. Familiarity with freight, truck loading and unloading, and equipment such as flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers is useful. Ability to drive safely, navigate with GPS, and perform required manual handling. Hazmat qualifications may be required for applicable routes and loads.
