Commercial Truck Driver – Wood Chip Hauling We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and safety-conscious Commercial Truck Driver to operate an owner-operated truck contracted to DCT Chambers. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering wood chips efficiently and on schedule. We are looking for an experienced driver who takes pride in their work, is dependable, and has a strong commitment to safety and professionalism. RESPONSIBILITIES - Safley operate a commercial truck hauling wood chips for DCT Chambers - Complete scheduled pickups and deliveries efficiently and on time - Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections - Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly - Follow all applicable transportation and safety regulations - Maintain required driving logs and documentation - Communicate effectively with dispatch and the truck owner - Take pride in maintaining and caring for the equipment QUALIFICATIONS - Valid Class 1 driver's licence - Acceptable driver's abstract - Commercial driving experience - Super B, live floor, and loader experience are considered an asset, but are not required — training can be provided - Strong commitment to safe driving practices - Reliable, punctual, and dependable - Good communication and time-management skills - Able to work independently in a fast-paced transportation environment This is an opportunity to drive for an independent owner-operator whose truck is contracted to DCT Chambers, hauling wood chips on established routes. Pay: $24.00-$33.00 per hour Benefits: Dental care On-site parking Work Location: On the road
