Truck Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated, experienced, and safety-conscious Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting freight efficiently and securely across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route navigation, and cargo handling will be vital in maintaining our reputation for reliable service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic transportation operation that values professionalism, safety, and customer satisfaction. This position requires traveling anywhere between 10-15 days. In addition to getting paid per mile, we also pay $50 for extra loads, extra pick ups, and extra drops. Responsibilities Operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers. Experience E-logging Submitting bill of ladings/paid on deliveries on time to the appropriate parties Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across over-the-road (OTR) driving routes. Load and unload freight safely using manual handling techniques and proper equipment, ensuring cargo integrity and compliance with logistics cargo handling standards. Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and other applicable safety standards during all phases of transportation. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before and after each trip. Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and compliance records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any route or cargo issues promptly. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving across diverse terrains. Proficiency in operating trucks with manual transmission and manual handling skills for cargo management. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and real-time navigation adjustments. Knowledge of refrigerated trailer operation, hazardous materials handling, and dangerous goods regulations. Ability to load & unload freight safely while adhering to truck loading and unloading procedures. Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazard communication protocols, and safety standards for tractor-trailer operations.
